“This is my editing reel.  I’m not trying to show you anything flashy, just real editing from real projects.  I feel comfortable on Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro. I can edit with a Director standing over my shoulder or on my own.  I can do basic sound sweetening and ADR looping but if you want it to sound like a $40,000 job, then you’ll have to take it somewhere that they will charge you that.    I also love to compose original music for the projects I edit; all the music you hear in my reel and in the samples below is my own.  I work quick and take instruction well - I do not feel it necessary for my work to ‘look’ like my work, though I do have my own aesthetic.  I like quick cuts and tightening the pacing through editing I like cutting away to reactions, and I like at least a couple wider shots so the audience knows where we are.  I like matching cuts to beats of music or matching music to editing cuts depending on the nature of the project.  And I like my editing to be unnoticeable, unless the desire is to draw attention to it.”
