Rick Fonté’s crammed as much as he could into this harsh drama about the white power movement. Turning the Brecthian Stephen Dietz play into something more Artaudian, he had actors running through the audience with guns, live music on stage underscoring scenes, and dense layers of ambient noise playing throughout the play. This was the last play to officially play the T300 theater and Rick wanted to push the space to its extreme.
“One week into rehearsal 9/11 happened. We took a day off and then started again, more than ever I felt people needed to see this play about fanatics.”
